Welcome to the Homepage Productions Tribute Page

Welcome to the new and somewhat improved Homemade Productions Tribute Website! Though Homemade Productions is no longer making films, we wanted to pay tribute to them for their 17 years of local filmmaking fun.
This site is dedicated to the men and women of Homemade Productions, and to their many films. For without their efforts in the field of local low-budget film making, this area would not have the growing film producing influence it has today.
Among a couple of others, HP is one of the first recognized independent film companies in the Charlevoix, Michigan area. HP boasts a staggering 15 plus film productions to date; all done with volunteers and a minimal budget and all done before the advent of computer technology.
So check out this site that pays homage to the…

(Well you get the idea.)

About Us: Information About Homemade Productions

So you still here? Well here is a little more about us…..
Homemade Productions is a low-to-no budget filming company out of Northern Lower Michigan that started when a 1988 camping trip got rained out. Out of the boredom that ensued, and the discovery of an 8mm camcorder laying around the house, was born the now infamous company you see tributed here today
Homemade Productions has under their belt 4.5 full productions, and far too many films shorts and smaller productions to even count. Even more than they remember doing themselves.
Homemade Production’s President, Andy L., has just finished HP’s latest and likely last production titled “Ninja Cox II” (AKA “Carl Johnson and Ninja Cox: Together At Last”). He premiered it on Saturday, February 26th, 2005. It was well received and a fitting film to close out the 17 years that they filmed. This site salutes the men, women and animals (both living and dead in the rafters) who made us laugh by entertaining themselves.
